So it seems the Cape Town music scene has it’s own gossip girl – kindof. Le Crush publishes photos of crushworthy guys from the Cape Town (and sometimes Joburg) scene. The guys are mostly musos but like, the indie unknown geeky ones, and some designers. Some of them aren’t in the public eye at all (Mike the architect?) – which must make it a real ego-boost to be published!
Whoever this girl is, she’s pretty brave. Successful blogs that are written anonymously often get outed. And I’d be embarassed if all my crushes knew I’d written stuff about them being sexy.
That said, if I was “Le Crush” I would write a post about Paolo Shibanga. He’s the drummer for 340ml. In spite of being short and skinny, he oozes sex appeal. When I first saw 340ml play I was absolutely blown away by them, and by the way he coolly walked off with 2, or was it 3 girls tucked under his arm…

I might also post about Fletcher from African Dope. Fletcher is a big guy, some might compare him to a teddy bear. He is SO brainy, makes and plays SUCH good music, and has been involved in SUCH innovative and direction-changing projects in the South African music scene that I can’t help crushing on him.
